Micheal is proud to represent Ward 2 on the Bloomington City Council. A committed community member for nearly 22 years, he’s originally from Peoria, IL, and relocated from Atlanta, GA, in January 2002 with State Farm—where he has built a 25-year career. As an Information Security Manager, he leads a team of consultants dedicated to delivering secure business and technology solutions.

Micheal holds doctoral degrees in Computer Science and Decision Management in Organizational Leadership. He also serves as Vice President of the YMCA Board of Directors and is in his second stint as head boys’ basketball coach at Bloomington High School. Active in numerous local and national service and professional organizations, he brings both expertise and passion to this role on the City Council.

Micheal is married to Rachael, a retired State Farm employee, and they share a daughter, Kendall, a sophomore pre-vet major and cheerleader at Illinois State University. In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies, golfing, and motorcycling.
