Description
The Board is responsible for conducting hearings related to appeals of the zoning code or requests for special use permits. The Board acts under the recommendation of an administrative order or request from the Council to investigate, fact-find, and make a determination regarding an exception or variance to the zoning code and advertising sign code. The seven (7) members are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Council for three (3) year terms.
