Collected curbside by an outside company (Call Norman Hicks at 309-846-8020), which charges a nominal fee for refrigerant removal for refrigerators and freezers for curbside collection
Can be dropped off at the Citizen Convenience Center at no additional charge

Refrigerators and/or freezers must have doors removed and cannot contain food or bulk

Solid Waste Program customers must call Public Works at 309-434-2220 for an estimate and to arrange for curbside collection
Materials must be cleaned so that they do not contain dirt
Fees:
$50 for 35 pounds or less
$100 per bucket (about 2.5 cubic yards) for more than 35 pounds
