The City created the infrastructure projects dashboard as an additional resource to keep the public informed of infrastructure projects occurring in the City. The dashboard provides a graphical depiction of how much work is being done and how much money is being spent by the City to improve the community.

BLOOMINGTON, IL - The City of Bloomington provides regular updates on resurfacing work throughout the construction season. The most recent update is included below.

FY25 Resurfacing

G.E. (General Electric) Rd, west of Hershey to Towanda Barnes

Stage 1: (west of Hershey to Airport)

  • Restoration of a driveway approach has been tentatively scheduled

Stage 2: (Airport to Towanda Barnes)

  • Restoration of a driveway approach has been tentatively scheduled

Fort Jesse Rd, Hershey to Kaisner

Stage 1 & 2: (Hershey to Kaisner)

  • Resurfacing has been completed

Meadowbrook Subdivision

Conley Circle, McGregor to Meadowbrook

  • Resurfacing has been completed

E. Lafayette St, Doral to the east end

  • Resurfacing has been completed

Magnolia Dr, Lincoln to Lafayette

  • Resurfacing has been completed

McGregor St, Lincoln to Lafayette

  • Resurfacing has been completed

FY26 Resurfacing

E. Oakland Ave, west of Prospect through Hershey

  • Removal and replacement of the storm sewer inlets has been completed
  • Removal and replacement of the concrete items (curb and gutter; ramps) has been completed
  • Removal of the underground utility castings has been completed
  • Removal of the asphalt surface has been completed
  • Installation of the asphalt binder course has been completed
  • Installation of the asphalt surface course has been scheduled for the week of October 20

Prospect Rd, Oakland to Empire

Stage 1: S. Prospect Rd. (Oakland to Washington)

  • Removal and replacement of the storm sewer inlets has been completed
  • Removal and replacement of the concrete items (sidewalk; ramps) is in progress
  • Removal of the underground utility castings has been completed
  • Removal of the asphalt surface has been completed
  • Installation of the asphalt binder course has been completed
  • Installation of the asphalt surface course has been tentatively scheduled for the week of October 27

Stage 2: N. Prospect Rd. (Washington to Empire)

  • Removal and replacement of the storm sewer inlets has been completed
  • Removal and replacement of the concrete items (sidewalk; ramps) is in progress
  • Removal of the underground utility castings has been completed
  • Removal of the asphalt surface has been completed
  • Installation of the asphalt binder course has been completed
